Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find general information about Health Builders and other frequently asked questions

Do you accept insurance?

  • We do not participate with insurance plans. Integrative care requires time with a patient to get more in depth to discover ‘root’ causes. Time is not adequately reimbursed through insurance.

  • Dr. Fuller is not in network with Medicare, but charges will be submitted electronically.
  • Dr. Kim has opted out of Medicare which means a waiver must be signed and super bills can not be filed under Medicare.

What can you expect with your first visit with Dr. Kim?

  • Dr. Kim can serve the capacity as a primary doctor or a consultant. If you are requesting a physical, Dr. Kim will obtain a thorough history and perform a physical.
  • A gynecologic visit is separate from a complete physical and not done on the same day.
  • If you have a primary doctor and are seeking a consultation for specific health issues, that will be the focus of the visit which will include a thorough history and a physical exam.

What is Nutrition Response Testing?

  • Dr. Kim uses an energetic assessment tool, applied kinesiology, or colloquially known as ‘muscle testing’ to analyze neurological reflex and acupuncture points to assess imbalances in the body.

Do you submit to insurance?

  • We do not submit to insurance. We do supply a super bill that you can submit to your insurance.

Empathy

We understand that communication starts with listening and being understood, caring about you as an individual, not just a list of diagnoses.
